We loved this New Orleans wedding assignment for a loving and photogenic Lafayette couple. The gorgeous Immaculate Conception Jesuit Church was decorated for the holiday season for their December nuptial celebration.
The legendary Roosevelt Hotel, just across Baronne Street from the church, was the host hotel where we documented bridal party preparations throughout the day. The hotel lobby was also decorated with holiday colors and white lights for the season which added to the festive spirit at this New Orleans landmark.
We loved the feeling and lighting in bride’s waiting area in back of the sanctuary and we were able to capture a number of stunning images there in anticipation of the ceremony. The loving expressions and handsome couple made telling this story a visual treat. Their reception included a special performance by Cajun-Zydeco musical legend and their longtime family friend Zachary Richard. This was a fabulous, fun and memorable Louisiana wedding.
