I was honored to have been recommended to this bride by one of her recently married friends and so excited to fly to Nassau to photograph her festive Lyford Cay Club wedding. The assignment began on Friday afternoon for the ceremony rehearsal at St. Christopher’s Anglican Church. The rehearsal dinner for all of their guests followed at Lyford Cay Yacht Club with its picturesque view of the harbour.
Saturday was a storybook blue sky wedding day for the photogenic couple’s ceremony which included an upbeat performance by a local choir. Families and the wedding party were invited to the church lawn after the ceremony for photographs just before they headed to the club in golf carts. Colorful floral décor echoed the tropical theme and chic setting for cocktails on the lawn, seated dinner and spirited dancing under the club’s pink and white tent. The magical evening of music and dancing continued past midnight at the Little Club for their after party and a very memorable time was certainly had by all.
