This Atlanta wedding photography assignment included superb venues as backdrop for the celebration and our photographs. The couple resides in Brooklyn and came back to the bride’s hometown for their wedding ceremony at Trinity Presbyterian Church and reception at Cherokee Town Club on West Paces Ferry Road in Buckhead.
Our weekend began with coverage of the rehearsal at Trinity on Friday afternoon, a favorite time for us to capture the spirit of anticipation and meet the couple’s families. On wedding day, we began with coverage of the preparations by both bride and groom with their attendants before heading to church for the ceremony. The bride’s brother spoke at the ceremony and everyone, especially the bride and her mother, were quite touched by his words of love and support.
We arrived at Cherokee for the reception and I loved the setup with long banquet tables and the unique positioning of the dance floor. It was a festive and fun evening for all and I particularly enjoyed photographing the bride and groom’s expressive faces which so clearly show their deep feelings. This was a wonderful and memorable wedding celebration.
