This adorable and talented couple met while both studying at Georgia Tech in the same major. He was heading off to Pensacola to learn to fly F18 jets for the Navy around the time they decided to become engaged. Our photography assignment included a summer photo session on Tech campus at noteworthy locations related to their courtship.
They chose New Year’s Eve as the date for their Atlanta wedding celebration beginning with ceremony at beautiful Peachtree Christian Church in Midtown. We documented their Friday ceremony rehearsal and had the chance to meet the families and capture the spirit of anticipation. The next day’s wedding ceremony ended with a traditional military salute with swords drawn by fellow naval officers on the steps of the church.
The photogenic couple and their guests headed to the St. Regis Atlanta hotel, the perfect venue for their festive reception celebration. We loved the bride’s change of attire at the reception and all of the jovial dancing which continued into the wee hours of the New Year.
